Family Testimonials
“ I wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks to you and your entire staff, particularly the Memory Care Unit personnel, for the quality of care you gave my brother, while with you. Other than when he was hospitalized late last year and the occasional a-day-here and a-day-there respite with a family friend, he had never spent time away from me the past twenty years. I was hesitant at best about leaving him with anyone I didn’t know or trust that they would care for him like family. Happily, I can say I found that place at your Avenue of Strongsville.
When we returned from vacation and went to the facility to bring him back home, I didn’t know what to expect. I was told in advance by others to be prepared for the possibility of a decline in him both mentally and physically. They could not have been more wrong. He was alert, talkative, smiling, and more active than when we brought him there. I enjoyed watching his interaction with several of the other residents and how kind they were as they told him goodbye, shaking his hand or giving him a big hug all along the way. He was happy ... and so am I. Thank you for becoming part of his extended family!”

“ The therapy team is a very good team. They are thorough and very knowledgeable. My father came into the facility not being able to walk, stand or even perform daily personal care on himself. The occupational therapy team worked endlessly to provide my father with the services to encourage his independence. The speech therapy team helped him revive his ability to eat food, as he came into the facility with a G2 (feeding tube). This all occurred within a 90-day period. We would highly recommend the team for rehabilitation needs.”

“ Mom is so happy and thankful that we moved her here, and we’re very thankful to the staff and the residents for being so understanding and helpful. Our only regret is that we didn’t find Avenue at Strongsville sooner. ”

“ I just want to let you know how very thankful we are for what you and your wonderful helpers do to make Mom & Dad’s stay at Avenue at Strongsville so pleasant. That includes – cooks, housekeepers, office personnel and activities. They all go together to help them feel more at home. It puts my mind at rest to know they are being well taken care of! ”
